Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: Boarding Group Access
Today is the big day! Have you been eagerly awaiting entrance into Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios? Here’s what you need to know before you go. I will be updating this post throughout the opening month with more information to help you plan your trip!

STAR WARS GALAXY’S EDGE
You can make reservations for Oga’s Cantina, Savi’s Workshop, and the Droid Depot. Check often to see if spots have opened up as reservations filled up quickly when they were released a few weeks ago. You may still be able to get in the day of your trip if space is available.
Boarding groups are now in effect. To control the crowds, they released boarding group sign-ups. When the land is full (and let’s be real, that is probably going to be daily!), you can only access Galaxy’s Edge via a boarding group. Download the My Disney app and you can enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when there is room! This allows you to enjoy the park and relax and not wait in line while you wait for your notification to come back. This is the VIRTUAL QUEUE TO ENTER BATUU!

IF YOU HAVE A RESERVATION TO OGA’S CANTINA, DROID DEPOT, or SAVI’S WORKSHOP: You do not need a boarding group reservation. You can enter up to ONE HOUR before your reservation time.

However, you may NOT need to enter the virtual queue! It will tell you when you log into the app. If it says OPEN, you’re all set! The land is not at capacity.

Download the Play Disney app for more Galaxy’s Edge fun: My son LOVES this app, and the Play Disney app will have more Star Wars activities that you can participate in when you’re since the land.

Learn the language! Here at Black Spire Outpost, residents have their own language. You may hear some of these when you go! Thanks to the Mickey Monitor for sharing these before our trip.

- “Bright suns” – Good morning/Hello
- “Rising moons” – Good evening
- “‘Til the spire” – Goodbye, safe returns
- “Well bartered” – Thank you
- “Under the shadow of the spire!” – Cheers
- “Good run” – Good luck

AUREBESH: BATUU’S LANGUAGE

Here is how you can decode Aurebesh! It’s also on the Play Disney app.
WHAT TO EAT INSIDE GALAXY’S EDGE:
At Docking Bay 7, you can find noodle bowls, ribs, and more. This is the kid’s meal! If you have a picky eater, this might be the best choice.

Oga’s Cantina: Snacks are available along with non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails. When we made reservations, they made it clear that we only had 45 minutes inside and there was a two-drink maximum. Even though you can make breakfast, lunch, and dinner reservations, they do NOT have full meals. There was a lot of confusion about that!

Ronto Roasters: This is on my list! They have a ronto wrap which is pork and grilled sausage wrapped in a pita. They also have turkey jerky!

Milk Stand: Choose from blue or green milk (and with or without alcohol!).

Kat Saka’s Kettle has the outpost popcorn mix which is the colorful sweet and spicy popcorn. They will have a souvenir popcorn bucket, and they have the super cool sodas here too.

Also, don’t forget that the REST of Galaxy’s Edge opens on December 5th. The Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction will open on that day. While there is still so much to do at Galaxy’s Edge before then, some may want to hold off on their trip until the second attraction opens.

There is a lot going on at Galaxy’s Edge, and I’m sure more details will come when the land is officially open and they figure things out. On opening day, the park was scheduled to open at 6 a.m., but they were scanning people in before that at about 4 a.m. and everyone was escorted to the land. Good luck on your journey!
