Jaleo by Jose Andres at Disney Springs: Must-Try Sangria and Tapas

Have you been to Jaleo at Disney Springs? Everyone is buzzing about it, with good reason! I checked it out recently as part of a media dinner, and it did not disappoint. This brightly-colored, multi-level tapas restaurant is seriously a feast for the senses, but it’s the authentic and mouthwatering Spanish cuisine that really keeps people coming back.

The interior decor is beautiful, and I love the amount of light that pours into the restaurant. We were seated at a table that had a working foosball game!

During my visit, I started off with Sangria Roja; endives with goat cheese, oranges, and almonds; and croquetas de pollo.

Next up was the pan de cristal con tomate; roasted red peppers, eggplant, and sweet onions; patatas bravas (my favorite out of all the dishes sampled); and gambas al ajillo (shrimp and garlic).

Then came the carne asada and sauteed spinach, before finishing with pan con chocolate and- what else?- flan.

With five locations the world over, we Disney lovers are really lucky to get to experience Chef Jose Andres’ epic creations right inside Disney World. (Andres has had a fabulous career. You can purchase his books and videos in the Jaleo gift shop to learn more after your meal!) Jaleo does accept Disney Dining Plans, but it’s considered a Signature Restaurant, so it will take two credits for one meal.
