6 Disney World Experiences You Should Plan Ahead For
Because Disney Parks are such a hot spot for tourists, the various events and attractions can be quite crowded. While it would be fun just to show up to the parks and enjoy the attractions, the truth is you need to plan ahead for certain experiences. Look below at the 6 Disney World experiences you should plan ahead for, so you can be sure to make the most of your Disney World visit!

Be Our Guest Restaurant
The Beauty and the Beast themed Be Our Guest Restaurant continues to be one of the most popular dining options at Disney World. If you want to give this place a try, don’t think that you will be able to just drop in. You are better advised to make reservations at least 6 weeks in advance (if not sooner) to make sure you get a spot at the table.
Character Meet and Greets

Characters in costume just don’t walk around the park anymore. You have to see them at designated times and locations. The good thing is, these meet and greets can be booked via your Fast Passes. When choosing your first three Fast Passes for the day, choose a Meet and Greet experience so you can see the characters during one of the prime times.
Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique
Turn little girls into princesses and little boys into pirates at this fun boutique! You won’t be able to just drop in, and instead will need to make appointments ahead of time. Book your experiences at least 6 weeks in advance. You may be able to make appointments even later, but actually showing up the day of most likely won’t work.
Popular Rides

The 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and The Pirates of the Caribbean continue to be some of the most popular rides at Disney World. When booking your 3 initial Fast Passes, book these popular rides as the chances of them being a Fast Pass option on the actual park day might be rare.
Character Dining
Many restaurants offer character dining so that you can meet your favorite friends while enjoying a nice meal. Again, these are not typically drop in situations. Try making reservations at least 6 weeks in advance, or even sooner if possible. This way you can be sure you get a space at the table at a time that works for your party.
Any Special Accommodations
If you are celebrating something special, or your party needs special accommodations, you should make any special requests prior to your visit. This way you can be sure your needs are met and everyone is happy. Items like wheelchairs and strollers do not need to be reserved ahead of time, but it may be easier to pick them up on park day if you do.
Guest Services at any of the four parks can help you set up your Disability Access Pass which helps those that struggle with standing in long lines. This was extremely useful for my daughter with Cerebral Palsy. Allow a little extra time in the morning when arriving at the park to register for this pass. It does not take long, but the line may be long at Guest Services. You only have to sign up for this pass one time during your trip.
