Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios
If you have a little one who loves meeting his favorite Disney characters, character dining experiences are priceless (especially since you don’t have to stand in a long line or waste a FastPass to meet them). However, if you have a little one who shrieks in terror when you try to get a picture with Santa or the Easter bunny, character dining will be a massive waste of money and you shouldn’t try to force it. After all, you are paying a premium just to meet the characters (though the food is actually really good, too).

Disney Character Breakfasts
Because my preschooler absolutely loves interacting with Goofy and friends, our breakfast at Hollywood & Vine was magical! He had a blast chatting with some of his favorites from Disney Junior, as each one stopped by our table to give him one-on-one attention.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet was your standard Disney fare: Mickey waffles, made-to-order omelets, pastries and fresh fruit (Lunch and dinner cost more and have a more expansive menu, complete with a sundae station!).

There are currently 15 different types of character dining experiences you can have at Walt Disney World, between the theme parks and the resorts. There really is a character to appeal to every child, and there are tons of different restaurant options from Italian to American to African foods and beyond!

You’ll pay anywhere from $15 per person to more than $60 per person, and you’ll need to make reservations. Disney Dining plans are accepted (and character dining is a really great way to use these credits since the meals cost more than you would usually pay).

Have you done Disney character dining? Did you think it was worth it?
