Glitter Beer at Disney World: Playalinda Brewing Company

Glitter beer is all over Instagram right now, and who better to serve up this magical trend than Disney?! Before I go any further…yes, it’s made with edible glitter and not the craft store variety!
This year, Disney brought us glitter beer at two events (and I’m betting there’s more on the way): the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and the Disney Princess Half Marathon.
During the Festival of the Arts, guests were able to try the Rainbow Sherbert Glitter Dream Ale at the Pop Eats! food studio in Showcase Plaza. This magical brew was created exclusively for Disney by Playalinda Brewing Company.

I got to try one after running the 5K during the Princess Half Marathon weekend. This version was the Glitter Berry Beer, also created by Playalinda Brewing Co., which was fruity and light. (No, you can’t taste the “pixie dust!”)
A note about the brewers: Playalinda, located in Titusville, Florida, has been combining the love of running and the love of beer for a while now. The company even has a running club that meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, in case you’re a local who wants to keep the fun going in between runDisney events!
While these glitter beers have gone into the vault, Disney has been known to create sparkling treats pretty regularly, so keep an eye out for your chance to try their next creation!
