Disney Fashion Tips | How to Stay Comfortable and Cool at Disney
It is HOT in Florida. Obviously. As a native Floridian, perhaps I am used to the humid and hot weather more than others. However, it is important to plan ahead for your Disney trip to stay cool and comfortable. I also have my new favorite way to accessorize at the parks!

It might be almost fall, but it is still warm here in Florida. In fact, I can’t even remember a time when it was “too cold” at Disney. We celebrate my December birthday at the parks, and I usually have a cardigan but it is never truly cold. So, it is important to dress for the elements (heat, sudden afternoon storms, sunshine) while still staying cute and comfortable.

I find that my go-to outfit at Disney includes a dress and sandals. Sometimes I’ll share photos and people will say, “why do you ALWAYS wear dresses?!” Well, believe it or not, I find that I am cooler when I wear a dress with dry wick shorts underneath. No sweating, chafing, or uncomfortableness after being on your feet for possibly 12 hours!
As for footwear, I typically go for yoga sling sandals. No itchy plastic straps, blisters, or sore soles. If your feet swell in the heat, the cotton slings of the sandals can stretch with you! I’m wearing Crocs above (yes, Crocs!) that are plastic and VERY comfortable. However, not every pair of “cute” Crocs are comfortable. I went on a buying spree and found some styles rub the back of your feet and can cause blisters. 🙁 But, the pair I’m wearing are very comfortable…and plastic! Our last trip to Disney ended in a torrential downpour and I was thrilled that my shoes weren’t wet! 😉

And, of course, I always accessorize with earrings, sunglasses, and bangles. I was able to style my own KEEP Collective Bracelet with Disney charms, and it can customized to match your own style!

KEEP Collective’s new Disney Collection has Mickey and Minnie charms and bracelets for you to customize with your own personal story! You can create lasting memories with your keepsake and remember your first trip to Disney or your child’s special Disney day! Since we are annual passholders, we make Disney memories often (birthdays, Mother’s Day, and more!). I love to add flair to my KEEP Collective bracelet to commemorate our special days.

I also added my own charms to go with my Disney bracelet: a coffee mug, a pink donut, and a camera. These all bring about memories from Disney experiences too! We start each day at the Magic Kingdom with a Starbucks from Main Street, a pink donut reminds me of the giant donut we ordered at Animal Kingdom when my son was just a toddler, and a camera since I am always taking photos around the parks.

I am excited to add this accessory to my everyday Disney wear. As I keep adding charms to my bracelet, I can remember our favorite Disney adventures!
