Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot
Flower and Garden Festival is one of my favorite events at Epcot. The park is absolutely stunning with all of the topiaries and there are daily concerts by big-named musicians…included in the price of admission!
It’s really hard to narrow down what I love most about this festival, but here are my 9 must-do’s at Flower and Garden Festival:
Try a cider flight. This colorful combo includes a trio of different cider samples each year. Last year, my favorite was McKenzie’s Black Cherry Hard Cider from the Florida Beer Company in Cape Canaveral.
Drink a violet lemonade at the Pineapple Promenade. This non-alcoholic frozen drink has been a crowdpleaser for years. It’s not too sweet or too floral, which is why it makes the perfect refreshment on a hot Florida spring day. (And, it’s pretty!)
Go on a scavenger hunt. Epcot actually sells scavenger hunt maps for every festival, but most people miss out on the fun activity! During Flower & Garden, Spike the Bee hides in the various gardens, allowing kids to really explore and learn while having fun! The maps are 6.99 and can be found in any of the gift shops.
Taste the Beef Brisket Burnt Ends at The American Adventure. Stop by The Smokehouse: Barbecue and Brews to pick up this festival favorite.
Grab a shrimp skewer from La Isla Fresca. You’ll find this booth just as your entering the World Showcase, heading toward the Mexico Pavilion.
Toast a good time with La Vie en Rose in France! Stop by the Fleur de Lys booth at the France Pavilion for one of these fabulous frozen slushies featuring Grey Goose!
Take in a free concert, thanks to the Garden Rocks series! There’s a concert every day at Epcot during Flower and Garden Festival, and there are new, big-name performers added to the lineup every year. Be sure to check the schedule before you go.
Watch a cotton candy master in action! Head over to the China pavilion to watch an artist spin your choice of five different layered shapes. We tried the Butterfly Dream!
Take in the breathtaking views! The flowers and greenery are really something to behold (and great for photography buffs and Instagrammers alike), but it all goes away when the festival ends.
