20+ Things to Do at Disney Springs: Disney Springs Food and More!
Have you heard?! Disney Springs will begin a “phased reopening” on May 20th! This may feel like a light at the end of the tunnel, but remember that just because places may be allowed to reopen, it doesn’t mean the virus is gone, so please be careful out there. Here’s what we know about Disney Springs right now: some (but not all) third-party-owned shopping and dining experiences will reopen on the 20th. Expect lots of changes and bring your patience, if you go. Disney Springs Vice President Matt Simon has said there will be increased cleaning procedures; the use of face masks by cast members and guests; as well as limited parking, capacity, and operating hours in order to make this happen.
Disney Springs Things to Do

Disney Springs Re-opening
As we begin to reopen Disney Springs with a number of shopping and dining locations beginning May 20, we are looking ahead to May 27 when we will begin to reopen more of our Disney owned shops and restaurants, including World of Disney, D-Luxe Burger (mobile order) and the Marketplace Co-Op. With that as our next milestone, we are eager to welcome back our Guests, some Cast Members and third-party Operating Participants with safety and well-being of all at the forefront of all our planning efforts.

What you should know:
- Limited parking and reduced entrances
- Temperature screenings prior to entry
- Face coverings required for Guests ages 3 and up
- Physical distancing practices including physically-distanced queues and physical barriers
- Temporary operation modifications, including reduced hours at select locations and no scheduled entertainment offerings or high-touch interactive areas
- An increased focus on disinfecting and sanitation, including the addition of hand-washing stations and hand sanitizers in key areas

As we go through our recommendations, keep in mind the new guidelines put forth by Disney. Also, not everything will be open at first. May 20th will be the first day that third-party shops and restaurants could open with May 27th offering up other choices including World of Disney. To help you plan your trip, here are our 10 favorite things to do at Disney Springs (in no particular order):
Take in the aromatherapy of Basin. Mix, match, and test out products as you make your own combinations of bath salts and suds to take home. Everything is cruelty and made without parabens, alcohol, mineral oil or chemicals. While this might look different in a post-COVID-19 world, we’re sure the company will find a way to provide customers with a personalized experience.

Pick up a coffee from Joffrey’s as you stroll. If you go to Disney and don’t have Joffrey’s, did you even go?! There are enough Disney-themed blends, lattes, and teas at Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company that you can try something different every time you go!
Have your little one transformed at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Your kiddos get the royal treatment here as they become princesses and knights. We’re talking much more than a little makeover: children get decked out in full regalia, perfect for special events, portrait sessions, or just to add extra magic to your vacation. A wide variety of packages start at $69.

Pop into the Disney PhotoPass Studio. Whether you’re after unique family portraits, school pictures, vacation photos, or a souvenir unlike any other, this is the place to go! This free service previously didn’t require reservations, but that might change in the environment we’re living in now. Once inside, photographers help you pick the best backdrop before snapping pics in various poses. You’ll then find all of the pictures linked to your My Disney Experience account. Or you can preview and purchase any photos right there on the spot!

Find the most Instagrammable merch at DisneyStyle. Head to this boutique to get the trendiest Disney clothes and accessories…and to snap photos, of course!
Build absolutely anything inside The Lego Store. Kids of all ages will have a blast in this massive Lego emporium. You can even create a customized Mini Figure of yourself and watch the machine make your design before your very eyes!

Wander through Marketplace Co-Op. Here you’ll find tons of unique retailers, offering mostly Disney-themed items, all under one roof. It’s got a flea or farmer’s market vibe, and it’s where you’ll find fabulous gifts for the Disney fan who already has everything.

Get the best souvenirs at World of Disney. There’s no better place in Disney World to buy your favorite Disney merch! If you saw it in one of the parks, you’ll also find it here.

Aerophile at Disney Springs. Catch a view from atop a balloon! Kids are $15 and adults are $20. Check their website to book and ensure availability. The balloon doesn’t operate in certain weather conditions, so keep that in mind.

Get a sweet treat at Sprinkles. Yes, there is a cupcake ATM at Disney Springs! I have never even gone inside. I just pick up a dessert to bring back to the hotel room.

Make your own toy at the Marvel Store. This is a hidden gem. You can build your own gauntlet at the Marvel store for an affordable price (and, yes, passholders get a discount).

Take a picture with the orange bird wall. Have you always wondered where the orange bird wall is at Disney Springs? Grab a cute photo in front of the Florida citrus mural as you walk! It’s located near Erin MacKenna’s Bakery.
Disney Springs Food
There are more than 50 restaurants at Disney Springs, so you’re sure to find something everyone can agree on. Go luxurious or keep it casual, but either way you choose, you can’t go wring with the variety of options.

Dine at the Edison. Savor signature cocktails and artisan cuisine in a 1920’s, steampunk-inspired atmosphere. Stay late enough and the place turns into a 21-and-up venue with live entertainment.

Taste the most beautiful sweet treats at Amorette’s Patisserie. This French-style bakery truly is Heaven for dessert-lovers. The cakes and pastries are as delicious as they are beautiful, and you can pair them with a glass of bubbly!

Get a wine education at Wine Bar George. Try one (or more) of over 100 wine selections at this estate-style wine bar, handpicked by Master Sommelier George Miliotes. You can also sample small plates at this chic new restaurant, opening in early 2018.
See a concert at House of Blues or have a meal. Some of the biggest stars have performed for audiences in this intimate venue. Check out their ever-changing lineup here.

Grab a sangria at Jaleo. I mean, it truly is delicious. They used to have window service, so I hope that still offer a sangria to-go soon!

Need lunch? Try Chicken Guy. Sample all of the sauces like Nashville Hot and Garlic Parm. Can’t pick just one!

Try whiskey at The Polite Pig. They have legendary drinks and are known for more than just delicious BBQ. This frozen peach cocktail was amazing!

Have a drink and go bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes. It’s playtime at this 50,000 square feet facility filled with bowling, billiards, and arcade fun! They also have a full bar, a patio, and live music sometimes.
Grab dinner and a movie at the AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theater. Enjoy dinner and a show unlike anywhere else in this luxurious theater. The dinner menu is casual, but the atmosphere is not! Dine on delicious fare in a super comfy chair with a personal call button for service! No more mid-movie snack runs! Movie buffs will also appreciate the state-of-the-art digital projection and sound.

Visit the Coca-Cola store for an incredible view and a few drinks. This is one of my favorite places to enjoy the view and enjoy the breeze. Hop up the ramps (the elevators always seem to be down) to get to the third floor for the Coke Bar! They have almost every Coca-Cola drink you could want (my favorite is Fanta Pineapple in a glass bottle) along with alcoholic drinks too. It really is the BEST and a must on your Disney Springs trip.

Catch a dance at Raglan Road. With so many dining choices, it’s hard to find time to make a visit to Raglan Road. However, you can pop in for a drink at the bar if there is room available. The live entertainment is AMAZING! From Irish dancing to music, you can’t go wrong.

Get a sweet treat at Sprinkles. Yes, there is a cupcake ATM at Disney Springs! I have never even gone inside. I just pick up a dessert to bring back to the hotel room.

Ghirardelli free samples! I mean, how can you not? Sometimes they hand out free samples of their delicious chocolate, but their milkshakes are kind of amazing.

The Daily Poutine has amazing snacks. You would LOVE their menu. French fries and cheese curds?! Their servings are big enough to share too.

Visit the taco window at Frontera for a quick meal. I love the window services at Disney Springs so you can eat and walk.

There’s so much more to do (and eat, and drink, and buy) at Disney Springs! Did your favorite thing make our list?
